Hose Line Systems in the Turbocharger Circuit

There is a relentless trend toward more compact engines delivering the same output. This downsizing places ever-increasing demands on the turbocharger circuits. Our systems allow us to face the challenges presented by future generations of supercharged engines.

For turbocharger cooling, we use materials and material combinations involving aluminum, steel, and EPDM.

  • Hose types made from PTFE or PFA with stainless steel outer braiding and temperature resistance from -40°C to +210°C
  • EPDM elastomer hoses with textile pressure carrier and temperature resistance from -40°C to +155°C

For turbocharger lubrication, you can rely on our variety of solutions for temperatures of up to +400°C. We offer:

  • Innovative, highly flexible elastomer hoses made from FPM/PPS and lighter and more flexible than traditional PTFE hoses
  • Hose types made from PTFE or PFA with stainless steel outer braiding and temperature resistance from -40°C to +210°C
  • Elastomer hoses made from silicone or AEM
  • Stainless steel corrugated tubing for temperatures as high as +400°C

Rigid tubes for turbocharger lubrication

Rigid tubes give the oil circuit a tightl link between the engine block and the turbocharger. Moving annular components allow for tolerance compensation on a mounted engine, eliminating the need for any hose component.

  • Tolerance compensation and vibrational compensation
  • Sufficient flexibility, even when dealing with tight clearances
