Air management around the turbocharger

The downsizing of engines is constantly upping the demands on the turbocharger lines. By literally injecting some “fresh air”, our charged air system generate high power output.

Charged Air Products are developed and manufactured in Asia, Europe and NA, using one global project management standard. Our extensive in-house compounding know-how allows for optimum selection and combination of materials. Continentals leading know-how regarding electronic components and sensors allow for complex, intelligent systems and solutions.

For various passenger car applications - for example, between the engine and intercooler or the intercooler and air intake manifold - we manufacture extruded and wrapped charged air hose lines. Our short, highly flexible molded hoses (Ultraflex) do the trick wherever complex clearances meet up with rising requirements concerning pressure, temperature and dynamics. Our 3D blow-molded charged air tubes are increasingly popular due to their effective reduction of weight and costs. Our range of resonators offer excellent noise reduction of weight and excellent performance.
