Conti® Thermo Protect is an ultra-flexible insulation system. It is particularly easy to process, and is ideal for the thermal insulation and protection of flexible and complex line systems, piping systems, and components within a high temperature range to 250 °C.

Technical specifications

• Wide temperature range: useable from -50 °C to +250 °C
• Thermal conductivity at 200°C: : ʎ = 0,08 W/(mK)
• Micro porous silicon rubber with a specific weight of < 0.5 g/cm³
• CTP plates are unvulcanized and thus plastically deformable
• Uncured material cures independently after installation at the hot components and becomes a flexible rubber compound
• High robustness: has all features of a rubber part despite low density
• Certified cleanroom suitability for ISO class 3 according to DIN EN ISO 14644-1, equivalent to class 1 according to US FED 209D
